Open learning is supposed to allow pupils self-determined, independent and interest-guided learning.
Our opening courses are designed for people who may feel daunted by the idea of university-level study. This range of short courses aims to build confidence and develop study skills and prepare students for the challenges of our regular undergraduate courses.
As part of our mission we are making an increasing amount of ANOBS teaching and learning resources available free of charge to anyone with access to the internet, regardless of where in the world they live.
Always remember that case studies illustrate open learning as an innovation both within and across academic disciplines, professions, social sectors and national boundaries, and in business and industry, higher education institutions, collaborative initiatives between institutions, and schooling for young learners.
